Due to ground conditions in the Central Susquehanna Valley region, Steel Drilling recommends a minimum of 40 feet of casing, permitting a more thorough natural filtration process of the water that flows into your well.

Surface water infiltration is the leading cause of contamination of a Pennsylvania residential water well. Steel Drilling takes the necessary, state-recommended steps to minimize this potential contamination for our customers. By grouting the annular space between the drilled hole and the well casing, a barrier is created to reduce the flow of surface water infiltration into a homeowner's well.
